Curious about the word “meek” - is that mistranslation consistent in the bible? For example, Psalms 37:11, “but
the meek shall inherit the land, and delight in abundant prosperity”. Restrained, disciplined, judicious, rational - all make more sense than the timid or weak interpretation.

"The disciplined shall inherit the earth, which makes considerably more sense."
Would "restrained" be a better translation? As in those who exercise self restraint?
