I find this very touching. The tenderness of the gardner, applied to the weed choked republic. Or something like that. Your analogy gives me hope and, at the same time, fear and trembling. I've always thought of myself as a pessimist, but you make me realize I do have hope. And that feels so much more vulnerable.
