Hello everyone,
Today marks one year since launching The Radicalist. Just in time for the anniversary, we’ve hit 5,000 subscribers. It’s an honor to have you all on board. Thank you for supporting my work. In case you haven’t had time to browse the archives, I am including a selection below of popular posts as well as a few personal favorites.
We find ourselves in a time of crisis. Freedom of speech, democratic values, and even logic and science are under attack. In the year since I began this project, we have witnessed Russia’s brutal conquest of even more Ukrainian territory, the greatest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust, an explosion of antisemitic and anti-American sentiment across the West, the spread of gang violence in Haiti, the crushing end to protests in Iran, and a U.S. presidential assassination attempt, to name but a few.
But as a journalist, and as an American, I believe in the truth and the power of reason. I believe in being a dissident voice at a time when mainstream narratives have been subverted against our best interests. I am confident we will prevail and here at The Radicalist, I am determined to do my part. To paraphrase Frank Miller, there are people who’ve eaten our nation’s wealth—its spirit—but their feast is nearly over.
Again, thanks for being here. Talk soon.

David, congratulations.
For being such an insightful and straight forward author writing about current events, your comment section is totally tame. No wise-asses going off arguing tangents ad nauseum. Perhaps your subscribers are simply too smart for that nonsense. Just saying. (crickets)
Congratulations, David!
I'm still proud to be a fairly early subscriber.
Please keep up the great work.
Let me know if you will be in SE Wisconsin and I'll get the samovar ready.
